We know that creating a family-forward workplace takes courage and leadership. We also know that Oregon families – and businesses – do better when workplaces are flexible. And in the 21st century, it’s the new way to work.
In 2012, Family Forward Oregon once again brought the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility to Oregon — and awarded our own, only-in-Oregon Family Forward Leadership Award to a truly outstanding employer in an outstanding crowd. Why? Because we believe in highlighting the things that work – it inspires others and rewards innovators. And we’re really glad there are employers in Oregon who understand that when employees have the flexibility to tend to and live their non-work lives, their work lives are that much more productive.
